Urn for nephew's ashes

My sister lost her eldest son last year after he took his own life. A tremendous tragedy for our family. This urn represents both his transition from this world into the next, and our broken transition without him. This is the only project I’ve done where I felt the form was more important than the function. I will miss him forever.
