I like to make Christmas gifts for my mother and mother-in-law. This year I decided to make end grain cutting boards. I stole the design for the walnut and white oak board from mtmwood. My original plan was to make two of that design but didn’t have enough wood so made the other from cherry and hard maple. I made a router jig to flatten them both. What a mess! A drum sander is on my list to buy if I can figure out where to put it in my already crowded garage. Both were well received and should have years of use ahead of them. Thanks for looking!

Nicely done, and a good reason to buy a drum sander!
