Another use for a Barbecue Trolley

I was interetsed a while back to see the recycling of an old Barbecue Trolley (”How cool is this”). There must be several versions. This is mine.

My work involves sending pet animals around the world. Most are shipped in standard plastic containers that vary in size suitable for rabbits to rottweilers. Much assembly and preparation has to be done, including adding labels, watering tibes and funnels, non-slip carpets, shredded bedding, etc. I got fed up with dancing around a table to do all this , so converted this old trolley and mounted a turntable on top. It is made entirely of recycled items found around the building. Beneath are stored such items as double sided tape, tie wraps, sticky tape, funnels. Vertical plastic tubes have been added to the side tables, to hold clippers, tiewraps, etc. The rolls of plastic tube and Live Animal Labels dispense from below, and there is a waste bin. This has cut assembly time and provides a demonstration bench for the pet owner to see how their best friend will travel. Incidentally, the size of the container is specified by international legislation to be always larger than the dimensions of the animal. As a result, relative to their bodyweight, animals in aircraft have much more legroom than any human!

-- I wish I could sell my experience for half the price it has cost me.

like the idea. I turned one into an outdoor table beside the new grill. Must be interesting shipping something as special as pets around the world.

Great use of old cart. I made a mitre saw stand and use it all the time. Spring is coming and I look forward to our town spring clean-up campaign. I hope to find another.
