I made this last Christmas for my grandson. It’s made of southern yellow pine and finished with brushed on amber shellac. It was a lot harder to build than I expected. The hard part of the grain was very hard. It is cut from a single 2×12 from Home Depot. I had a hard time finding one that I could cut all the pieces out of. The only hardware used is two lag bolts I used to hold the head on after spending hours trying figure out a way to clamp it on straight. The rest is wood glue, dowels and butt joints. I was a bit concerned that it would not hold up to a little boys stunt riding. It’s been in use for a year now and he hasn’t broken anything.

A perfect gift for a small rider! Did you use a plan or self design?
