Some of my earlier work. I built several bunkbeds like this for customers. They are built using 2×6’s (douglas fir). The drawers slide underneath the bed rails and are on casters for easy removal. the are very large and solid. The ends rails are the ladders to get to the top bunk.

I love the drawers underneath the bed. I think I may borrow that idea for my kids’ room.
