Egg shaped vessel 4 1/4” D x 5” H turned from green cypress. When I finished this it developed a split at the top rim so I decided to experiment on it with leather dyes. I have to give credit to Trifern for describing how he uses colors in my first attempt imitating his method. I thought it came out pretty good for my first attempt!

very nicely done…I am in the process of doing the same with the dyes similar to Trifern…. I actually just dyed my piece red today… and am going to try something a little different to see how it turns out…hopefully good…pretty figured piece of maple… don’t want to waste it.. nice job though…
