I made this small box for a family member who loves poodles and the color blue. Made from almost completely of popular. Resawed thicker boards to 5/16” thickness for all sides and the drawers. Used 1/4” finished ply for the drawer bottoms. Routed a profile on the drawer fronts. Connected with simple butt joints since very little weight involved. Mounted the drawers on 1/4” hardwood rails dadoed and glued into the box sides. Cut the feet on the bandsaw. Made small L brackets from 1/2” mdf to clamp on drawer sides during glue up to keep them square. Box measures 6”X6”X4”. Ceramic poodle and mini pulls came from ebay. Thanks for looking.

Cute box. The rope detail on the top fits right in.

Cool little box and love the color! I just may have to make myself one of these – without the poodle! Great job.

Nice job. I’m glad that you got me on my blue day.
