I used several wood species as purpleheart, Brazilian rosewood, pau-Brasil, braúna, vinhático, jacarandá-marrom, pau-Pereira, Scots Pine (this is the only non-Brazilian wood), etc.

Finishing is tung oil and beeswax.

I made pallet coasters and thought I was working with small pieces, but this is ’’realy small!’’ – how you managed that?! Beautiful patterns, shapes and colours.

I made the earrings in two ways.

I use scraps and cut the strips in different widths and glue them. After, the cuts are made of several directions according to the woods. It is possible to glue the resulting strips in different ways and the cuts are done in other ways. The possibilities are virtually infinite.

In the other type I cut the veneer with a scalpel and glued it in a small piece of wood, also in different ways.
