My first project!

This is the first wood project I can remember doing. I was only 8 at the time. Of course I had my Dad’s help. I came up with the idea and told my Dad what I wanted to do. I found the wood in a pile of fire wood already in this size and shape. Dad helped me burn the edges of the picture and mixed the shellac. I glued the picture and painted on the shellac. Then I sanded and put on another coat. I was so proud of this gift I made for my Mom. Wow that was 28 years ago and it still looks kinda cool.

Nice job Tim….....but who’s the silly looking kid in the picture? :)

Memories that last for generations!!!

What a great gift to hand down to your own children or grand children one day…
