This box is made from figured walnut and soft maple; it has curly cherry knobs. I built the box with scraps I had laying around the shop. I came up with the idea for the drawers after noticing the contrast in grain pattern between the top and bottom halves of the walnut face. For the finish I applied three coats of Danish oil and a top coat of minwax finishing wax.

Beautiful! I really like the curves on the bottom for the feet. I will remember for my next bandsaw box. Thanks for sharing

You can’t miss with walnut/maple combination. Interesting angled drawers.
