i got an order a few months back for a bed with rails for a 6 year old special needs boy. so this is what I came up with. didn’t think much of it but I ended up getting over 100 emails the next day for a bed like this! also I haven’t been on here in quite a while and looking back at some of my past projects are cringe worthy! but a reminder to anyone starting out in this trade to keep going, keep working hard, and learn from every time you screw something up!

I can’t tell because the picture angle is distorted a bit but does the side rail section hit the ground when it is flipped down…..or is the base section tall enough that it just flips straight down against it.
Is there a rail all away around the bed?
