Planted this pine over 20 years ago, only to see it die from bores; but had the pleasure to give it a second life.

I carved this old man face and gave him a hat.

Reincarnated Pine tree! Who would have thought an old man was hiding in there! Nice work!

Very nice job on it, Pat. Now it has special meaning in that you planted it and then carved it too!!.

Thank you guys, it was simple carve, not much time spent on it. I was tired of dragging the tree clippings and logs away. So now i think in the future every tree that “dies” will stay as a carving maybe. Be cool to have random statues through out the farm. I recently converted half my barn into a wood shop. So I can finally escape and get things done. So sorry fellow woodies for thy absence. Expect a lot of completions and completed works.

Hopefully return to the big Sea Life Carving and finish it. Stay tunes friends.
