Here is my try on the piano keys. Thanks to JL7 on the help with the measurements. That is key to this project. I used scrap walnut from my work and some maple I had. I used Paduk for the keys felt strip. And I finshed with poly. I wanted different handles but I had to settle for these. Thanks for checking it out.
Merry Christmas

What a great tray! I love the detail involved, including the “felt” strip. I particularly like that you aligned the figured wood across the keys. That’s a very nice touch.

That is too good! Awesome piano shape and pattern. It realy makes you try to make it by myself.

thanks for an idea for the music person my son. I have lots of scrap to combine and since he is in AZ I can fly this to him rather than ship it. Please go to my home site and check out my shop and projects. hope you can get some ideas. I was in Roanoke this summer before the storms, very nice.

Thanks I would recommend trying this project. If it doesn’t come out good. Try it again. As you can tell in one of the pictures.
