I made a simple pallet sign in the shape of my home state, Tennessee. Using Jigsaw, Tablesaw, Titebond II glue, some old pallet boards and clamps.

I downloaded a picture from the Internet, imported it into Inkscape and printed out a pattern. Glued pattern to pallet boards and cutout with a jigsaw.

Thanks for Checking out my sign, if you make one of your state, please post a picture. I would love to see it.

Always use pallets that have HT stamped on them, these are Heat treated, no chemicals.

Also remember when using power tools, always use proper Safety equipment, like Safety glasses and hearing protection.

Nice one Dave. I did an outline of Michigan and I’m going to put it into a cutting board.

cheers, Jim
