Project Information

I had a workbench, but it functioned pretty much as an assembly table only, no clamping options, just an mdf torsion box top. I kept the base, made it a bit smaller and built a new top for it. Bought a large section of old gym floor for the main area, encased it with some jatoba flooring, added vise and t-tracks for clamping options, storage, and woohoo, I've got a much better workbench.

I like the design with the overhang on the right and the storage below. But even more interesting to my eye, the contrasting colors from the drawers and the frame around the top add some cool style to it. Good looking build.

Looks great, I know you will enjoy it for a long time. I like the idea of incorporating T-track into the design.
