This candle holder uses two of the 1.5” tea light candles. I have made many of these of different styles using craft materials I may have on hand. Have given most of these as gifts. This one had no plan at all. I just cut and sanded away everything that I thought should not be there. The base is about 6” long by 3” wide by 1 3/4” high. Simple pine with many coats of wipe on poly. Thanks for looking. Donnie

Did you make the lighthouse yourself? I like the curves of your project, my mom would really love that lighthouse though.

Hi Dean, The lighthouse is something I saved from years ago. It is pewter and was part of a windchime. I’m part pack rat.

LOL – I understand the “pack rat” thing perfectly.
It’s a lovely project – and you’ve got your own way (which I admire) of using ordinary materials to acheive extraordinary results.

Great form. We had a name for those candles back in the 60’s. ;0)

Fantastic job! Love the use of Reclaimed stuff (lighthouse) to make a great project.

Keep it up.

-- Scrap Wood's the best...the projects are smaller, and so is the mess!
