this table goes with the hall table posted earlier. the tops are oak planks capped with cherry, finnished with a light cherry stain and 4 coats of poly.
the legs are reclaimed oak stairs. put together with loose tennons. stained natural and 4 coats of poly.
the top is connected with three bolts per side.
i enjoyed building this one as it was my 11 year old daughters idea. she just would not help me build it though.

My complements to your daughter on this design, this incorporates two design features that make it interest both a split top and a floating top great job.
