I have been putting in alot of hours at work lately, but was able to get this chest finished. The finish is 3 coats of orange shellac that was rubbed out with 1500 grit and then 3 coats of poly and water sanded. I think it turned out pretty good ( I don’t think you can mess up walnut). All comments are welcome. If you see something I could have done better please let me know. Thanks for looking.

Very nice! I agree that you can’t go wrong with walnut – my favorite wood. The images are somewhat dark on my monitor so I can’t see much detail, but what I can discern looks very well done!
Great job.

That’s really nice!
The front looks great the way you matched up the grain. Cool feet too.
Nice project, will be appreciated for years…..............................

Thanks for the good comments guys, I am definitely not a photographer, but in my defense the guy was coming to pick it up as I was trying to snap pics. Sorry for the bad photos.
