Made from scraps from my previous post (walnut, curly maple, padauk), and also a little bit of cherry from my table. A little bit of sapwood in the cutting board, and an odd number of coasters, but all in all I’m pretty satisfied considering these only took a couple hours to make. Also: lesson learned, don’t put end grain through the planer. I could have had four coasters but my planer took out a big chunk. Finished with mineral oil. Went ahead and just put mineral oil on the coasters too cause I’m lazy.
