Had this cupped piece of white ash sitting in my wood stack for years planning to make a bench out of it. I used mortice and tenon joinery and the domino to attach the cross brace to the ends. There is no racking and supports 3 adults with no problem.
Finished with 4 coats of shellac 320 sanded between coats. Toped with 3 coats of wipe on Polly for protection.
Very happy with the out come. The cupped piece for the top gives a natural but Grove that make sitting on this bench comfortable. Will also double as holiday extra seating for the dining room table.
Thanks for looking

That’s a very nice looking bench—I like the leg design, and love the live edge!
