I built these Challenge Coin Displays for each of my Three Nephews and one for their Father.
Two of them are in the Army
One is in the Marines
Their Father is a Police Officer.

They were all built exactly the same, and then I was able to customize the fabric backing and the themed center block to each of their respective Military Branches and their fathers City of service.

They are built from poplar.
Painted with black enamel.
The bottom is designed specifically larger so that they may be set on something, or they can also be hung on the wall with the keyhole slot on the back.
The door is fitted with a piece of lexan to keep off the dust.
The shelves were spaced so they could fit both the regular size and the extra large size coins.

great work on these, very simple design, yet they really capture your attention.
I served with 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan, great group of Army folks.
Thanks for posting these!
