really cool work – you should post a how to video of the process some time, would be great for other LJs to learn this craft

I first use several layers of CA mixed with Boiled Linseed oil, sanding between coats going from 400 to 800 grits. Once I’m happy with the coats I use micromesh pads going Into the fine diamond grits, from that point I use a few coats of Friction polish and then renaissance wax!
