Kia Kaha – Wall Hanging
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUgVljQDNG4
This video is dedicated to those in Kaikoura and North Canterbury New Zealand after the 7.8 Earthquake on the 14th November 2016. At least two people lost their lives.
I live further south from the epicenter of the earthquake and did not know about it until the following morning.
Kia Kaha (pronounced Key-a Ka-Ha) the New Zealand Maori words for “be strong” or “stay strong”. It is a common cultural phrase here in New Zealand in the time of need and distress and is used all the time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kia_kaha
