Kia Kaha – Wall Hanging

This video is dedicated to those in Kaikoura and North Canterbury New Zealand after the 7.8 Earthquake on the 14th November 2016. At least two people lost their lives.

I live further south from the epicenter of the earthquake and did not know about it until the following morning.

Kia Kaha (pronounced Key-a Ka-Ha) the New Zealand Maori words for “be strong” or “stay strong”. It is a common cultural phrase here in New Zealand in the time of need and distress and is used all the time.
