A collection of 5 curio boxes made for Christmas presents. Red Oak and Walnut. Finished with tung oil.

Boxes & lids had walnut splines in the mitered corner joints, which was the most challenging part of the construction.

Nice boxes. Love the wood combination. The walnut splines really enhance the overall effect of the contrast in wood.

Good contrasts and proportions. Your splines came out great and accent the oak nicely.
You have a good foundation to build on if you desire to get a little crazy :-)
