Anyone like to go bowling ??
Here is a design made from maple and Paduk for the stripes. A previous comment said to use a washer instead. At .14 cents each for the washer much cheaper than buying the retail versions over 5.00. I had to modify the design for the opener slightly. Had to drill out two holes at 1 1/4 inch wide at two different depths. One for the washer the other to hold the bottle opener it self

As a tester of openers; I know that research & development get expensive.
I do like your openers.
I think by buying box, or bulk, depends on the stores around you, you can get those washers at a better price than that though. Where I used to live we had a couple of stores that sold bulk hardware. Fleet-Farm and Mac’s both did.

Hey RJR I usually got the openers from rockler but those were wicked expensive so moved to the washer concept. I came up with my own design but looking for a metal fabricator to produce it.
