Down where I live, Mahogany is pretty pricey.
So, I had one board foot of beautiful Mahogany, and using the “Bowl from a Board” method, I made this bowl.
It is approximately 11.5 inches across at the top, and about 4.5 inches across at the bottom.
I finished it with friction polish from Shellawax and it looks real nice.
This is one of a bunch I’m making for the Christmas season.

Nice looking bowl Eric. I really appreciate whoever came up with the idea of making a bowl out of 1 board foot of lumber.
