Here is a simple Christmas project idea for you guys.
This ended up taking me a bit longer than usual as I was wanting to use some leftover flooring for material, but feel free to use whatever is in your scrap lumber bin at the moment.
Turned out great. I used the basic plan from HERE but I modified to make best use of my materials. Also changed up the stand as well, it’s removeable so it can be hung on the wall too.
The only thing left to add is a few tiny wooden clothes hangers to connect cards and possibly a metal clasp at the top to attach an angel.

My wife has been on me to build one of these!! What did you use for the string material? It looks cool because it is all “stringy”

It is a “stringy” wrapped heavy wire that my wife uses for paper crafts. It looks better than what the original instructions recommended, a plain 1/8” metal rod, and it meant I didn’t have to buy anything.

BTW, I loaded another picture with the clothes pins and star holder attached.
