Hi every one :)
After four years hating, struggling, loving, working, making mistakes, making progress, getting upset and feeling happy I have come to the final part of this project. The size of it is 1 miter by 1,6 m.
All work is the same white will become black and black will be the polished gilded surface all the rest will be matt gilded with some silver details. For more info please look at my blog where all is explained.
So in 2 months it will be done and I will post some photos with allot of gilding on it hahahaha :)

Awesome work!....What type of filler are you using on this?

I enjoyed the blog you did on another part of the project. I have a question if you don’t mind. I have seen red bole used often, but never black. Is this what was under the original finish? Also, why no bole under the silver?
Thanks in advance. It is a wonderful project. I hope to go find the original post with beginning images and follow it to the end.

Right, yes the black is original a microscopic examination has been done at the beginning. There is no need for the bole under the silvering. Bole only needed if the gold or silver after will be polished.

That would be great but I don’t know if you want to move to an undeveloped country and city like Riddle.
I’ll sell cheap and move to the country :-))
