these are some of the things i have made over the years ,
1 and 2 photo is the first doors i made , for a restaurant in sonoma california ,
there are 3 sets of doubles , this was a mortuary built before the civil war , remodeled by me in the ‘60’s .
3 and 4 photos are the second door , it measures 8’ x 8’ and slides open onto a deck ,
for the same restaurant .
5 and 6 are a porch awning for my LJ buddy ( and my ex )house in new mexico ,
the arch is entirely out of wood , and spans 40’ , it stayed that way for 5 years ,
until we broke up , at wicth point she had a steel post put under the middle ,
( i guess she didn’t trust me ? it was sagging a little , as was i ) .
just sitting here remenising this morning , as i prepare to go to work today ,
for 2 women , 1 an architect , the other nostalgic for old mud ( adobe ) !

wish me luck , nobody listens to me , after all the wow ideas , i do what i can ,
and rush home to LJ’s where it is safe !
