My wife wanted a small trinket box and we were at the lumberyard the other day and she picked out a cocobolo blank. So I turned this simple bowl form and made a Wenge lid for it.
Nothing fancy, but she really likes the look of the cocobolo color and grain.
I realized I had done a bunch of pieces and hadn’t posted anything, so figured I’d catch up on my projects page. Nothing fancy compared to a lot of other guys, but I like to record the stuff I’ve done.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Nice looking box. Cocobolo is a beautiful wood, but I’m not sure I can have it in the shop any more due to respiratory issues.

The 2 different woods go well together. You really captured the beauty. Nice work.
