Look what I found hiding inside a chunk of desert willow. Went to see John at Dead Tree Salvage near Casa Grande in Az. JACKPOT!

I think this is my favorite of all your turned bowls, Jim. We will definitely get some more of this wood on our next visit to John!

Woohoo she’s a beauty Jim, I didn’t know that the Desert Willow hid so much beauty … There are three growing in my yard … today any way. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled at the salvage yard in Glendale.
