I made this box to show the grain and knots. This is just left over pine bits that caught my eye. I really do like tight butt joints and always have so, that’s how I did the main box. The stain is Ipswich Pine by Minwax and a wax finish. 16×12x8”

it’s big enough to keep my bills in (LOL) !

Nice looking box and I agree with you about the butt joint. It doesn’t get the respect it deserves.

I like the way you did the framing on the lid.
