I know these aren’t made of wood, but they remove wood. These are a few of my attempts at Hand Plane restoration.

The first pic is my Bailey #6 Hand Plane that I found at a yard sale which required lots of work to get it to that condition.

The second and third pics are 1 of 2 Bailey #5 Planes before and after restoration.

My second plane has a serrated bottom.

I give Paul Sellers and Jay Bates lots of thanks for their videos on hand plane restorations. A great way to put great woodworking hand tools back into service.

Thanks, Craig

Nicely done Craig.
I also enjoy watching Jay restore the old planes and give them new life.
Now you’ve done the same thing.
Something to be proud of for sure.
