This is a jewelry box my grandson made. He used curly maple and walnut. His project was entered in the local county fair and placed Grand Champion for the show in its catigory.
Update 6/15/17 Found some more pictures of my grandson’s jewelry box that shows the curly maple figure a little better.

Thanks for the comments. I have been working with my grandson for 5 or 6 years now. His skill leve has greatly improved.
