Made a new set of book shelves for my wife in the guest bedroom. Left one shelf taller to accomodate new television that she wants for the room. She applied the vinyl quotes down the side from top to bottom, these are from some of her favorite books.
Then, since I finished that she saw a shelf unit in a mail order catalog and wanted it for our bedroom. Since our bedroom set that I built is mission style this fit in quite nice.
It is made out of red oak and turned out very nice.

I like open shelving. Looks great. Interesting phrases on the side of the white shelves.
