This is one of my first cutting boards. I found the wood in a small private lumber yard with my dad in North Carolina. Having never heard of this wood I bought a few boards and took a risk. After using it a couple times it is a unique wood that really pops. In fact I think I have one piece left so I should go make another one soon.

Very nice. With proper care that should last a good long time. Persimmon is very hard, it is what wood golf clubs were made from.
