Mallet madness!

It’s a disease. I made one then couldn’t stop. Everybody in my family has 2 or 3. Those are some fantastic looking mallets.

I’m a carver/sculptor, and I would be proud to use a mallet with that much class…great work my friend ! great work !

Very well done! Is there any secret to the construction (so they don’t fall apart from continuous use)? This might be a good project to get my turning skills back once I finally get my lathe set up again… It has been in storage since the move to Michigan.

Thanks everyone! No secret to these ones just tight glue joints…though I did think that maybe some dowels through the sides might help them last longer in use. So for so good for the one I’m actually using. But I say go for it…if one falls apart from using to much you just get to make another:)
