Back in May I got laid off from my job. I finally found new employment and this job requires me to work from home. The desk that I had did allow me to accommodate another workstation and larger monitor and have some desk real estate for notepads etc.

I had some rough Cherry in the workshop and decided it was time to use it for something so I built this desk.

I wanted a minimalist desk with no drawers and a lot of workspace. So I build my take on a parsons table, it is solid cherry (no plywood). Finished with Watco Danish oil and satin polyurethane. Took just over 50 hours to complete. This is the first nice piece of furniture that I have built and boy did I learn a lot. Thanks for looking.

Now that is a great sized desk, thank you for sharing
