This solid cherry wine rack was made for a friend for her birthday. The rack features hand cut dovetails for all of the joinery except for the back panel. The finish is just boiled linseed oil and 4 coats of a satin wipe on poly (my own recipe).

There’s everything men’s cave need. I like dovetail joints.

Very nice. How is it attached to the wall?

Thank you all! Those were my first hand cut dovetails I actually used on a project.
ScottM – It is attached via keyholes on the back. It’s wide enough to span 2 wall studs. The screws are in the wall studs so it will hold some weight!

That’s a fine looking wine rack—love those dovetails! I’m sure she’ll really enjoy it—although looks like it needs some fine Oregon Pinot Noir!
