My first entirely hand tool project; a height chart for my nephew for Christmas. I found an oak pallet by a dumpster. End to end dovetails got me a little over 6’ of length. Trying to hand plane knots in oak was exhausting, but educational. Finished in several coats of Danish oil natural and markings using a black oil paint pen. I made several efforts at transferring printed imaged and though about getting stencils, but time ran out so rustic sloppy handwriting would have to do.

Neat scale. I have all the kids and grand kids on my shop cabinet with a marker.
That is a cool idea.
