Thought I would put the last of our barn wood to use and make my daughter a floating bed. Everything is jointed with pocket screws. Added the pipe and lamp reading lights. One day project and I think the finished floating appearance is way cool. She loves it so that’s all that matters :)

Great build Miccos! Have been trying to talk the wife into letting me build a bed. Will have to show her this one.

That bed will be a real eye catcher and conversation piece. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.

Hi, great bed. curious, as I’m about to build one, how much does the top overhang the bottom? and how stable/stiff is it?
