Bedroom set made for wife with scrap cherry used as trim in a Bank. The scrap was going to the dumpster and I managed to save it. I did have to buy some for the side rails but the rest is from scrap. I have enough left to make a blanket chest and dresser which are in the process.

Awesome set John. What kind of stain and/or topcoat did you use to finish it? I have an original Stickly bed like it and yours looks just as good if I do say so myself!

I used two coats of tongue oil and 4 coats of deft bruch on semi-gloss lacquer.

Very nice bed. The best wood is the wood you can get for free.

John, Great looking bedroom set. I really like the look of the Cherry with that style. Very impressive.

Sir,
You do nice work but what the hell do you have in the karma bank to get so much free wood?
