Good looking piece and nice photography, too.

Thanks Charlie, I hired a pro to take shots of some of my work. Cost me $120 and it was worth every penny. I ended up with over 100 pics in all.

Mr. Flaim, you make very nice pieces. Classic, but very inviting. I really like them.

What type of finish do you have on these cherry pieces? They have a nice glow.

Nice job. How did you attach the shelf and dividers?

Nice work on the cabinet… Great pics so good investment of hiring a pro. I take all my own pics but have never really set up any of my projects for a “studio” type shot… Might have to try that…

Hi SPalm,

I use five coats of General Finishes Arm-R-Seal tung oil polyurathane combo. The pics where taken a year after the bookcase was built so it had a chance to darken up some.

Hi Rickey,

The shelves and dividers are dadoed in place. I placed two pieces of 3/4” plywood side by side so it would give me a 1 1/2’ thick divider face frame. The shelves are 3/4” thick as normal.

Thanks!
