This is my “flame” bandsaw box. I came up with the design about a year ago but never got around to making it until last week. I’m very pleased with how it turned out for me being a beginner woodworker. The box is made of cherry and the drawer front is padauk. It is roughly 10.5” tall x 6” wide x 3.5 thick.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Fine use of contrasting woods and making them part of the design. You are off to a running start!

One of the coolest bandsaw boxes I’ve seen! Now if you could get a little LED light in there, the flame motif would really jump out at you!
