A plain set of oak book ends. Running out of small scrap… Another good gift for clients or friends. I’ve included my favorite book. ;0)

That was my very first woodworking book :D

I’m relatively new to woodworking and I think I take it too seriously sometimes. I have fun but I think I try too hard all the time. Not that my projects are the best. Not by far. But I get too wrapped up in it and down on myself if I make any mistake or if I don’t think it’s perfect. I think some more simple projects like this would be nice to throw in the mix here and there. Complete a project quickly to give me a little boost.
Thanks Jack.

Hey jack looks good. Just wondering how many books it will hold with out a base.

They are really very stable since they are full 16/8 red oak and quite heavy as well as having that 30°/60°/90° (about) shape. They will also substitute for walnut crackers too…
