Lets face it, most of the work we show here is the fancy stuff. What about the other stuff that takes up a lot of our time. Lately, I have been making utility shelves.

Not real pretty but very useful and makes the back work less – using bins are great until you have them stacked 4 high and have to get the bottom one out all of the time. This one required 2 sheets of 3/4” and 1 sheet of 1/2” for the back. With all of the weight, 1/2” was required for the back. All shelves are adjustable. The sides are edge banded, the shelves – at a later date (or not at all).

So far – made 5 of these in different sizes to deal with different storage containers.

Thanks for looking

Truth! I need to build one/two of these for my garage to solve the crushing weight of 5 deep plastic tubs. lol Thanks for sharing and reminding me of “real” projects I have to do on top of the fun ones!
