It was my first time turning a bowl, took abit longer than I expected but well worth my time. As you can see I put some design features on the bottom of the bowl and inside, I know the design won’t be seen inside but I thought it gave the bowl a different style. The timber is called utile, I’ve never heard of this wood before but it turns really well for me. Thanks for looking and I’m hoping to start posting more projects

Nice Job Jake. I noticed your pictures are all rotated. Here’s a tip: only take and upload pictures in landscape orientation, not portrait. The LJ site can’t handle them and will always rotate them. The only fix is to take them again and replace them with landscape shots. Hope to see more of your work here.

If I ever tried my hand a turning a bowl, I’d like it to turnout half as good as yours.
