Well, this is my first actual piece of furniture, and while it is not perfect I am very happy with how it turned out. It was definitely a learning experience, and it was my first time doing mortise and tenon. The entire table is walnut with the top being 2 pieces of mahogany put together.

Looks like a great start for your first piece of furniture. Good choice on using motise anf tenons to hold it together. The Mahogany is a nice touch also!

Nice table to get started on. Tapered legs can be a little challenging.
