This is the second of two bathroom vanities that were commissioned for a 1890’s country lake home, as was the first, this vanity was also build from red oak lumber (no ply) fairly simple design but tons of individual parts to mill, fit etc.,. The overall style is a mission style, however I did use creative license in many aspects of the design and build. Each set of drawers are cut from a single board to maintain continuity from left to right.
Again a fairly simple project but the client was very pleased, which is usually the measure of success on a commissioned piece.

Very nice….a touch of eligance in a vanity. Vanity’s are always tough dealing with a sink placement. At least they must have enough space to have ample vanity per sink. Usually a vanity that size has to have two sinks in it and then…...............very bad drawer space.

This is another nice piece of cabinetry. It has plenty of storage and has a nice design to it.
