Haven’t been good about uploading projects as most of my projects have been for a single contractor so I haven’t needed a portfolio in years, but though I would get into the swing of things, this is one of two bathroom vanities I recently finished for a 1890’s county lake front home that is undergoing a big remodel. It’s built from red oak to match other features in the home.

Fairly simple, easy and quick design and build but was enjoyable. Some modification were made from the original concept drawing.

This is a nice looking vanity. I enjoy seeing this style of furniture. And I like the look that the single drawer gives to the vanity as opposed to the dual lower drawers.

I assume this is a functional drawer but it looks to me as if the plumbing would be a challenge to install. But then again plumbing, while I can do it, is probably a skill that I am the least proficient at. :)

Thanks for the comments, its a very simple piece, but does job, the contractor specified the overall dimensions and I made several drafts using Sketch up and he approved the version you see hear. The lower drawer is functional, he originally wanted two drawers but required the dimensions from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet doors to be no higher than 15” so two drawers were fairly skinny at face height of 4.25” each. The final solution to the skinny drawers was a single drawer

Beautiful. I’ve been thinking of building a similar design for my wife’s bathroom.
